PrimeAlpha Research operates Sovasta Translate as part of Sovasta, a family of solutions that share one account, one bill and one set of rules about how your data is handled.
Sovasta Translate is the 45th Sovasta solution. The full list is at hub.sovetrust.com.
Its nearest relatives are Sovasta Compass (43rd) and Sovasta Read (44th). All three share a mascot — Sovasta — and the same habit: measure what can be measured, and say plainly when something has not been measured.
It started as an admission. Compass, Read and this site each ship twenty interface languages. Two of them are translated. The other eighteen are frames whose values are still English, marked _untranslated in the file, with a banner on the page telling the reader so.
That is one step below machine translation, not above it. Those eighteen files are the first real job for this product, and they are why the bottom badge reads “not translated” rather than something softer.
Not the translation. The hard part is handing back a file that still works. A developer, a writer or a translator who gets back a document with the table broken, the code block translated or the JSON keys renamed has to redo the work — so keeping the structure intact is the thing worth paying for, and it is the thing this site actually measures.
Signing in uses One Sovasta ID, the same account as every other Sovasta solution. Billing is handled centrally at Hub.
Three rules we hold ourselves to:
